Agnes Maria Czajkowski, 92, of Surrey, BC, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2018.

Born May 6, 1925 in Hindenburg, Germany, she is predeceased by her parents Richard and Marta (Schneider) Tomscha and her brother Arthur Tomscha.

Agnes married the late Jan Czajkowski in 1948. They immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1951.

They had 2 children, their surviving daughter Christa Sharpe (Gordon) and their late son Peter Czajkowski.

They decided to retire and purchase a hobby farm in Dryden, Ontario in 1985.

Agnes moved to Surrey, BC in 2011 to live with her daughter Christa.

Our mother and grandmother was a great cook and loved to entertain. She was an avid vegetable gardener where she would harvest her vegetables and sell them at the local farmers market each year. She also loved to go fishing, the outdoors foraging for wild blueberries and mushrooms and playing cards. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Also surviving are her grandchildren, Debbie Cooper, Dylan Boon, Jhan and Jhustin Ancheta-Czajkowski (their mother Myrna Ancheta), great-grandchildren Dalton Boon, Haydin Boon, Tiesha Cooper, great-great- grandchild Soraya Ancheta-Czajkowski.

She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Hazelmere United Church, corner of 184 Street and 16 Avenue, on Wednesda,y January 24, 2018 at 2PM, with Reverend Lori Megley-Best officiating.

Reception after church service will be held in the Hall next door to the church.

A service will also be held in Dryden, Ontario this summer for family and friends. Date to be announced.

We would like to thank and appreciate all staff that were so kind and cared for Agnes the last couple of months at the Peace Arch Hospital and Weatherby Pavilion in White Rock, BC.

Agnes's family wants to acknowledge and appreciate all the support they received during this difficult time.
