DALLAMORE, Al

Born May 7, 1936, passed away peace-

fully at home with his family by his side April 24, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Al was truly a remarkable man, he was an excellent listener who demonstrated his care for others lives with affectionate empathy. He had a great passion for playing his piano and enfused family gatherings with energy and joy. He had an enthusiasm for life and loved his extensive travels with family and friends. Al thoroughly enjoyed his 30 years working in many divisions of the Gillette Company. Throughout his life volunteer activities were very important to him. He was a boy scout leader, Charter Member Thunderbird Travellers Club, A.C.T lifetime member and Phoenix Food and Drug Assn. As a charter and lifetime member of North Delta Lions Club Al recently received the Melvin Jones Fellow award for dedicated humanitarian services. Al is survived by his loving high school sweetheart and wife of 51 years Marion, children Keith (Anna), Kelly (Graham), Jay (Sandy), Denise, loving grandfather to Laira (Ross), Dylan (Carmen), Spencer (Jenn), Carson (Sam) Brandon (Taryn), Becky, Jordan, Jacob, Cassandra, great grandchildren Parker, Leah and #3 on the way, brother Bill (Audrey), aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. Many thanks to all our friends, family and home support care for all the love and support during Al's illness. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 30 at 1:00 pm at St. Marks Anglican Church, 12953 20 Ave., Surrey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the White Rock Hospice Society, 15510 Russell Ave. White Rock, BC V4B 2R3 or a charity of your choice.
