Al passed away peacefully on Sunday December 30, 2018 at the age of 90 surrounded by his family. Al was born and raised in Toronto and was the youngest of 8 children. He met the love of his life, Julia and soon after moved to her hometown of Montreal. In March 2014 they moved to White Rock, BC to be close to their children.
Al loved spending time with his family and was a big hockey fan. He followed his son's hockey careers and travelled far and wide to attend most of their games. Al worked in real estate and the service industry for many years. Later in life he opened up his own restaurant named "Chez Julie". Al was a great cook and loved to eat good food.
Al is survived by his wife of 68 years, Julia, his children, David (Emmanuelle), Larry (Sam) and Laura (Jim), his grandchildren, Lani (Matt), Tristan (Megumi), Jordan and Jasmine and his great grandchildren Kyana, Trinity and Mika. He is also survived by his sister Marian and his many nephews and nieces. He was a great father and husband and will be sadly missed.
A mass will be held at a later date.
