Albert (Al) passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, B.C. on October 21, 2003. He was born May 6, 1925 in Deloraine, Manitoba. Al made a career in road building, paving most highways in Northern B.C. He was a Mason, a Cancer clinic volunteer, a decorated veteran of WWII, a good golfer at Nico-Wynd, and a fine husband and father.
Al is survived by loving wife, Helen, son Barry, daughter (Laurie) Jody Currie, siblings Lois (Lougheed), Don and Edward as well as grandchildren: Bill, Tina, Krystal and many cousins, nieces and nephews, Al was predeceased by his father Francis Nelson (Frank), mother Alva (nee: Truax), Grandpa Bob, brother John, sisters Annie and Bessie.

Services were held at Victory Memorial Park, 2977 King George Highway, Surrey, 604-536-6522 at 2 pm on October 25th, 2003. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice in his memory.
