Albert Edward Turner

May 9, 2006

Born September 16, 1912

It is with much sadness we announce that our dear Al, Dad, and Grandpa passed away on May 9, 2006 in Peace Arch Hospital.

He lived a long and happy life living in his own home til his last two days. On his last day of life Al was eagerly looking forward to the future and going out for suppers with his family!

He loved and valued his family, home and friends in his quiet, steady manner and retained his sense of humour, sincerity and integrity always.

He was gentle and adventurous.

Al "rode the rails" was part of the Regina Riot, joined the RCAF in WWII (flight instructor), married his dear Connie in 1941, and retired from a happy career at Edmonton Telephones in 1972, moving to White Rock, enjoying family, friends & golf.

Forever loved and forever missed by his wife, Connie, daughter, Sharon, grandson, Sam and poochie Freedom.

As well, son John and family, sisters Mary, Hazel and sister-in-law Kay & their families and many good friends and acquaintances.

We would like to thank everyone for all their kind words and deeds, and especially all Al's large support network, with special mention to Dr. Deernsted, Dr. Gayton & Elder Health, White Rock Come Share and "angels of the night", Maureen and Carol.

Sunset and evening star and one clear call for me!

~ We love you always ~
