Passed away April 23, 2005 at 106 years of age under loving care and attention of staff at Findlay Pavilion, Peace Arch Hospital.
The Finch family were pioneers at Barrhead, Alta, where Berta met and married Charles Wasmuth (who predeceased her in 1975), later moving to Edmonton, then transferring with Metropolitan Life to New Westminster with sons Charles and Alex and daughter Ione.
Berta will be sadly missed by her loving children, grandarlings, great-grandarlings and great-great-grandarlings.
May her road ahead be paved with light and love, as she did for the fortunate people in her long life.
A celebration of life was held at the SDA Church, her loving extended family, at 8520 - 132 Street, Surrey at 12 noon Wednesday, April 27, 2005.
