SORENSEN,Alice R. (Jensen)
It is with love and deep sadness that the family of Alice Sorensen announces her peaceful passing on August 28, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Alice was born June 4th, 1933 in Denmark and immigrated to Canada in 1957 with her husband Nels. Alice was predeceased by Nels in 1994. Alice lived life with optimism, grace, compassion and courage. She will be deeply missed for her wonderful sense of humor, her kind and caring heart, her words of inspiration, gentle wisdom and encouragement, her generosity and creativity, but most of all, for the love she gave unconditionally to her family and friends. Alice is survived by her loving family, daughters Joann (Garth) and Linda (Roy), grandchildren; Kelly, Lauren, Michael and Mitchell, her sister Sonja and brother Benny (Lise), the loving Kief family and many
dear and wonderful friends. Alice will be remembered warmly, missed deeply and always felt in our hearts. She will live on in all of us. Alice's Memorial will be held on Saturday, October 10th, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Clubhouse at Vasa Park (next to Golden Days) located at Pigeon Lake, Alberta.
