April 20, 1981 - December 31, 2021
In the early morning of Friday, December 31, 2021 our dear son Jeff passed away suddenly in our home. Jeff was born April 20, 1981 and attended school at White Rock Elementary and Earl Marriott High School and completed a Heavy Duty Mechanics course at BCIT. Upon moving to Saskatoon he completed a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator course. He spent many years in Saskatchewan working on pipelines & property development. He was known for his excellent work ethic.
Jeff always loved a challenge. From the time he strapped on his first pair of skates at age four, he couldn't wait to get on the ice and play hockey, being coached by his Dad for several years. Jeff rebuilt his 4-wheel drive Toyota truck and when in BC loved to explore mountain backroads. He felt he had found his place in the great outdoors camping, fishing and discovering waterfalls and hot springs in the high country. A passion he shared with the friends he traveled with and those he met along the way. His many photos bear witness to the beauty he cherished. Weekends while on the prairies were often spent with his dog Taz camping, hunting and fishing on the Boucher family farm near St. Louis, Sask. Jeff also appreciated his Aboriginal Heritage and developed relationships with many First Nations and Metis people.
Jeff's passing leaves a void that can never be filled. He will be deeply missed by his father Ron, mother Bonnie, sister Ashley (Jordin), beloved niece Magnolia (Maggie) and nephews Turner and Reese, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends in BC and Sask.
Our gratitude goes out to Aunt Janet, cousin Bob, and Skip and Diana Wright, Jeff's close and supportive family in Saskatoon and to those who have reached out to our family during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life for Jeff will be held at a later date. We are so thankful for having Jeff in our lives and his memory will live in our hearts forever.
