Allan John Harvey

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at his home in South Surrey, B.C., after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Allan was born in Stanley, New Brunswick on November 8, 1948 to the late John and Betty Harvey (Bird).

Allan spent most of his school years in Ottawa, Ontario where he graduated from Algonquin Business College.

After college, Allan moved to Toronto and spent many successful years as a senior executive in the telecommunications industry.

During these years he also completed the Executive MBA Program at Western University in London, Ontario.

In the years following, Allan and his wife of 23 years settled in White Rock, B.C.

He spent may years in business consulting as well as helping his wife operate Cyclone Taylor Figure Skating in Vancouver.

Allan will be greatly missed for his outstanding enthusiasm, passion for life, his family, his animals and of course...GOLF!

He is survived by his loving wife Deborah Taylor and his 2 daughters, Tarrah Harvey of White Rock and Julie Stahle (Mark) of Brampton as well as his son John Harvey (Andria) of MIssissauga.

He will also be greatly missed by his 2 sisters, Carol Dixon (Ron) and Joan Harvey (Paul Leroux) of Ottawa and Montreal and many relatives living in BC, New Brunswick, and across Canada.

A visitation was held on Thursday, Janurary 6th from 7-9pm at Victory Memorial Park on 2977 King George Highway in South Surrey, B.C.

A funeral service was held at the same location on Friday, January 7th at 2pm followed by refreshments and memory sharing in the reception hall.

In lieu of flowers, Allan has requested donations be made to the Cancer Society of British Columbia, which can be arranged through Victory Memorial Park at 604-536-6522.
