Al's chosen field was the logging industry. He honed his craft and was promoted to superintendent. He later formed Wardell Logger's Troubleshooting Co., building floats, bridges, constructing and raising A frames. Known in the industry for using innovation to accommodate the needs of the logging community, he was headhunted for a project in Brazil, as well as undertaking huge projects all over the Island.
He was loved by his kids: son Bart (mother Gloria), his step children Carolyn and Jamie, (mother Elizabeth) and grandchild, Sarah. Wife, Susan and loving family.
He will be remembered and loved by many friends, family and colleagues We, his children and granddaughter will celebrate his life at: White Rock Legion, 2290 152 St, Surrey BC, December 7th, 2019 at 2 pm.
We hope you will attend and celebrate his life with us.
