Allison Beverley Thompson, (nee Andres), died peacefully in Vancouver General Hospital
on February 25, 2019 in Vancouver, B.C. surrounded by her adoring family. Allison was born on June 11, 1943 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
She was a dedicated member of the Star of the Sea and Good Shepherd Churches. Allison was an accomplished sailor who enjoyed being on the water.
Allison will be forever remembered by her beloved husband, Andre Thompson, her cherished children, Kerry-Anne, Michael, Melissa, Penny, Shannon, Andre, and Carydah; and by Allison's siblings, Garry, Ken, Lois, Patty and Peter.
'Yellow Gran' will be truly missed by her grandchildren, Jarec, Colton, Mikiehla, Andre, Allysha, Sydney, Austin, Teresiah, Travien, Milani, Lillyana, and Jasmine. She joins her parents, Peter Henry Andres and Ann Vera Rempel Andres, in Heaven. Her children remember her as a devout Catholic, a strict, patient and loving mother, and a strong woman devoted to her family.
While she leaves us in body, her spirit and soul live on in each of us as we continue to fiercely love and care for one another.
A funeral is scheduled for 11 am on Friday March 15, 2019 at The Evangelist Chapel located at the Gardens of Gethsemani, 15694 32nd Avenue.
