April 22, 1938 - January 2, 2023
It is with great sadness we let you know that Angelike Ingelse passed away peacefully on 2 January 2023. Born 22 April 1938 in Bandoeng, Indonesia, Angelike Maudy Ingelse lived a full life.
After World War II and the loss of her father, Angelike and her mother and brother, Anton, made their home in Holland. As a young woman, Angelike worked as a teacher, then, based out of Rotterdam, Netherlands, Angelike worked as a cruise ship director for Holland-America Line. She later immigrated to Canada where she lived and worked in White Rock, British Columbia till her death.
It is here that Angelike made lifelong friends, a dear group of friends-like-family with whom she shared life and beauty, adventure, and laughter. And it is here where her family from Kansas, USA enjoyed visiting with her and making sweet memories.
Angelike Ingelse is survived by sister-in-law Jeanette Ingelse; nephew Roy Ingelse, nephew and niece-in-law Rex & Lisa Ingelse, nephew and niece-in-law Randall & Wendy Ingelse; great nieces and nephews, Kasey, Toni, Zoe, Phoebe, Sydne, Isabelle, Ophelia, Lucas, Nathan, Gabby and Caydence; and great-great nephews Bodie Oak & Arcade Fox.
Much-loved Tante / aunt, sister, friend, Angelike is already dearly missed. Her family is thankful for each prayer and act of care for her while she was in hospice. Till the very end, Angelike has been surrounded by love and gratitude for the gift of her in our lives.
We are confident that Abba Papa God spoke to her heart and held her close in His embrace till her last breath. And we are confident in Jesus' victorious promise that we will see her again and look forward to hugging her tight when Jesus comes back to wake her up and to take us all Home. Heaven will be that much sweeter with Angelike by our sides.
Till then, "Welterusten, Tante Angelike." - Sleep well.
"Wij houden van u. And kami mencintai kamu." - We love you. Always.
