Anne, age 73, peacefully passed away at Melville Hospice on Dec 29, 2021. She was born to John and Vina Moan in Surrey, BC alongside her brother Johnny.
She grew up in Surrey BC being a member of Girl Guides and attending Queen Elizabeth Secondary School. Following High School she graduated as a Registered Nurse in Vancouver, making many long life friends during her training. Her nursing career transpired between Surrey Memorial and Peace Arch Hospital.
In her younger years, she was an avid skier, skiing Whistler and as far as the Swiss Alps.
She drove across Canada with her son and 2 dogs and travelled extensively through Europe with family and friends. Her love for her dogs and cats brought her much joy. She was a strong supporter of the local arts and music scene in White Rock & Surrey, in her earlier years proudly being one of the members of the musical group 'Bargain at Half the Price'. She was also a talented photographer and writer, sharing her poetry at open mic sessions. She attended many of the local coffee houses singing and playing her drum, along with
volunteering at Camp Kwomais during the 'In Harmony' events. She was a kind, thoughtful, and generous soul who will be missed by many.
She is survived by her son Joe Walls, his wife Jamie, and their two daughters Paige and Reese.
