HAMPTON, ANNIE Mildred (Rath)

Born in Minburn Alberta, Feb. 22, 1918, this gentle soul passed away peacefully on Aug. 27, 2009 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband Merlin, her brothers Wilbert and Arthur Rath, Her sisters Edna (Tom) Simmonds, Nellie (Stanley) Davison, Hazel (Wes) Powell, brother-in-law Vern Stearns, niece Laura (Joe) Chartier, grandson Matthew and great granddaughter Jennifer. She is survived by her sister Florence Stearns, her children Gloria (Sam) Ferleyko, Bob (Rita) Hampton, grand children Jeff Ferleyko, Cindy (Darin) Knutson, Peter and Laura Hampton, Leigh-Anne (Brian) Povey, great grandchildren Alicia, James, Michaela, Emily and numerous nieces and nephews.


A widow at 53 she will always be remembered for her love of family and friends, her twinkling eyes and joy of life. She was a lady in every sense of the word. We thank you Binny for your unselfish and caring

ways. You will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved you.


A special thank you to Dr. Purkis and the staff and residence at Evergreen Baptist Home, she loved you all.

A celebration of her life will be held Sept.11 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Church on Buena Vista Ave. and Centre St., White Rock.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Elks or B.C. Children’s Hospital in her name.
