Passed away on Monday, February 3, 2002, after a long and valiant struggle. Born in England in 1923, Arabella emigrated to Canada in 1953 to be close to her beloved twin sister Mary. Arabella is survived by John, her loving and dedicated husband of 58 years, her daughter Glynis and her grandchildren Morgan and Tasha. Arabella leaves behind sisters Mary Clausen of Blaine, Washington, Jean Vine of Surrey, England, Margaret Winfield Hansen of Copenhagen, Denmark, and brother Tom Winfield of London, England. The family wishes to invite friends and relatives to a service in Arabella's honour to be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. Sincere thanks and appreciation are extended to Dr. Pretty, Maxine Guth, niece Jacquie Thomas, home care staff Berit and Sally, and the home care nurses Dorothy, Bruce and Ingrid who gave Arabella comfort and care in her last hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends and family support the Peace Arch Hospital and the Heart Fund.
