Arthur (Art) Watt McKilligan

McKilligan: Arthur (Art) Watt, born October 24, 1920 in Hamiota, Manitoba, passed away peacefully June 21, 2003 at George Derby Center for War Veterans at the age of 82.

Art will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Elizabeth, his sons John, Patrick and Andy and his 8 grandchildren.

Raised in Smiley, Saskatchewan and Victoria, B.C., Art joined the RCAF as an Officer Pilot and saw active duty during World War II flying out of Great Britain.

Art's career included automotive service management in Victoria, teacher at the Vocational School in Nanaimo and long term Vice-Principal of PVI (BCIT) in Burnaby.

Art will be rememberered as a minor hockey coach, parent of competitive figure skaters, Creator of Gardens and a loved member of the "Nico Wynd" community in White Rock.

Please join us to celebrate Art's life at a Memorial Service to be held Monday, June 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would greatly appreciated.
