LOADMAN, ARTHUR GORDON
Jan. 26, 1923 - Dec. 10, 2008
Gordon was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, attended the University of Manitoba, served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for four years and then returned to the University of Manitoba to graduate as a Civil Engineer.
He passed away peacefully in the Dr. Hogg Pavilion after a full life dedicated to his family and career. He leaves his loving wife Rita; sons Ian and Bruce, daughters Amy and Martha, daughter-in-law Fiona Miller, brother Donald and his wife Cathern and their family. Gordon was the second of three generations to work for CN for their entire careers and he counted 47 years of service upon his retirement. Through the years Gordon was involved in all of his children's activities and also enjoyed travelling and golf. Upon his retirement Gordon and Rita made their home in White Rock, B.C.
There will be no funeral service by request. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the B.C. Lung Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C.
