Born December 16, 1918 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away at Surrey Memorial Hospital on January 23, 2003 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Joanne Siep, Art is also survived by two sons, Gary Allen Siep of Surrey, B.C. and Donald Matthew Siep also of Surrey, B.C. as well as brother, Albert and sisters Lena, Ida and Martha. Art served in WWII from 1943 - 1946 and afterwards became a prison guard at Okalla. He later owned the Siep Second Hand Store for 17 years. His passions in life were his wife Joanne, and two sons, Gary and Donald and his work. Art overcame a heart bypass operation in the eighties. A celebration of Art's life will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28 Ave., Surrey, B.C. on Thursday, January 30, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.
