Barbara is now resting peacefully after a battle with cancer that ended on Nov 20th, 2017.
She is dearly missed by her son Michael, granddaughter Bailey, partner Les, brother Gerry, sister in law Ellen, nieces Kristin and Erin, as well as her extended family and friends.
Barbara loved her White Rock/ South Surrey community and when she was able to, would regularly walk down to West Beach in White Rock (up and down Oxford!) to enjoy watching the seagulls and just enjoying the beach.
Barbara took great satisfaction in the simple pleasures in life, and would share these very enthusiastically. She was a graduate from the University of Alberta with a degree in Child Psychology, and traveled extensively in her younger years.
Barbara's family will be having a private gathering to celebrate her life and scatter her ashes out at sea with a paddle out at West Beach in White Rock as per her wishes.
