Barbara Alice (nee Smith) Passed away January 5, 2007 at Peace Arch Hospital in the loving compnay of friends and family. Born November 6, 1919 in Bedlay, Colliery Scotland, she was 87 years old. She is survived by her devoted husband Henry, brother Dave, sister Lil, children Jill (Alan), Joyce and Maurice (Carol Ann) grandchildren Jamie (Marguerite), Jennifer (Gary), Pamela, Gordon, Sean and Kerry (Amanda), and great grand-daughter Chelsea. While her presence will be dearly missed, her kindness, gentleness and compassion will forever guide us in our own lives. A celebration of her life and an opportunity to exchange memories will take place for friends and family on Saturday, January 14, from 2pm to 4pm at the home of her son Maurice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to eh Alzheimer's Sociey of Canada. Godspeed and thank you precious sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.
