Passed away at the age of 82 years with family at his side on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC.
Barry is lovingly remembered by his champion, "first and only wife", Linda of 55 years; sons Barry (Iryna), Jeffrey and Brad (Catherine). Known as Papa and Gramps to his grandchildren: Valeriy, Aleksandra, Morgan, Madeline, Lauren, Nigel, Josiah, Elias, Elizabeth and William.
Barry had a career as an accomplished musician, RCMP Staff Sgt. and Chief Traffic Officer with the Government of Saskatchewan. He is remembered for his outrageous sense of humour and love of music which followed him all his life.
Those wishing may make donations in Barry's memory to the Seniors Come Share Society, 15008 26 Ave, Surrey, BC V4P 3H5. A family service to honour and remember his life will be held in Regina, SK followed by a committal in the RCMP Cemetery.
