Dick, Beatrice Mary
Beatrice Mary Dick passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 06, 2008 at the Ocean View Guest House in White Rock. Many members of her large family gathered to be near her in her final hours.
Beatrice was born in Wainwright, Alberta, in 1915. After high school she went to work at the telephone office in Wainwright where she met her soon-to-be husband, John Everett Dick. Beatrice and Everett lived in Morin and Acme, Alberta, before moving to White Rock in 1951. Beatrice and Everett raised five children and were involved in many local activities.
Beatrice is survived by her children, Carroll Taylor, Bob Dick, Pat Walters, Joan Stewart, and Trudy Hemrick, as well as 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grand-children, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Heritage, Christ the Redeemer Church, 16613 - 57A Ave., Surrey on Saturday, January 12, at 11:30 a.m.
A memorial tea will follow the service.
