Cockburn - Bernard Keith at the age of 85 years passed away suddenly at home in White Rock, BC on Monday November 12th, 2007. Keith was born September 9th, 1922 in Briercrest, Saskatchewan, predeceased by his mother Nora, father Fred, all siblings, three sisters, Gladys, Barbara, & Gertrude, and two brothers, Donald & Woodrow. Survived by his wife Norah, former wife Anna-Marie, sons Douglas (Suzanne), John, daughters Miriam (Allan), Susan (Alan), Catherine (Eric), grandchildren David (Lisa), Stacey, Michael, Daniel, Greg (Kelly), Shannon (Russell), Laura, Sarah, great-grandsons Kashton & Leland and many nieces & nephews. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all his family & friends.
Keith was an R.C.A.F. Veteran of WWII, and later worked for Philips Electronics for 29 years until his retirement in 1985. He loved participating in HAM radio operations and was a member of various HAM radio clubs for most of his life.
The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses & staff at Peace Arch Hospital for their kind and gentle care.
