1929 - 2008.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ben on July 17, 2008 at Peace Arch Hospital. He will be sadly missed by Heather, Bob, Barb, Ryley, Nicole, Teri, & Randy. Sisters; Johanna, Audrey, brother Don, many friends and his beloved dog, "Mr. Mike". Ben loved life and was always ready to help others. He volunteered for the Cloverdale Fire Department for over 25 years, drove a bus for the White Rock/Langley Seniors Centers, where he loved to take "Mr. Mike" for the enjoyment of all, as well as being a volunteer driver for the BC Cancer Society and donating his time to Critter Care Wildlife Society in Langley. Ben's true passion was fishing and he spent many an hour trying to catch the "big one". No service by Bens' request.
