1928 - 2002. It is with great sadness we announce that Bernice passed away in her home on November 28, 2002. Bernice was predeceased by her son Bryan, her parents James & Alice Land, her brothers Sid and Cliff (Lena), sisters Dorothy Brennan and Grace (Gerry) Shotbolt. She is survived by her brothers Mickey (Vi), Ed (Sherill) and Bob; and her sisters Gwen (George) Mitchell, Geraldine (Joe) Kopchuk and Jean Cook, numerous nieces, nephews and several dear friends.
Bernice spent most of her life serving others as a registered psychiatric nurse at Selkirk Hospital in Manitoba, Woodlands in New Westminster and Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock. Her family and friends will miss her beautiful smile & kind heart. Bernice was interred next to her son in Victory Memorial Park on Tuesday, December 10, 2002. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Peace Arch Hospital Foundation.
