It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Ann Baldo announces her passing on Monday, November 12, 2018, at the age of 80. Betty will be lovingly remembered by Bruce her husband of 60 years and their children, Brian (Ninon), James (Louise), Karen and Bruce (Rochelle). Betty will also be fondly remembered by her 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 great grandniece and by her sister and best friend Diane and her daughter Megan (Paul).
Betty was born in Montreal, raised our family in Laval, QC and later moved to Surrey BC. She was an avid knitter, boater and loved RVing and travelling the world. During her boating years she held numerous positions and served as Commodore of the Crescent Beach Yacht Club for 2 years. She also played a vital role in helping our father launch the family business with her strong work ethic and determination to succeed.
We would like to thank the nurses of Fraser Health Home Support and the staff at Irene Thomas Hospice (Delta Hospice Society) for caring for our mother in such a gentle and compassionate way.
The family will be holding a memorial service in honor of Betty. Memorial Donations in memory of Betty can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
