Betty Caplette (nee Cross) born in Kelowna on July 3, 1930, the youngest of six children, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Crescent Beach on September 3, 2002.
Betty has joined her soul mate, Jack, who passed away in July. She will be greatly missed by her children: son Rob (Patti) and daughter Patti (Gilles) and lovingly remebered by grandchildren Ashley, Garrett, Justin and Tarina and sister Phylis and family.
Betty ran her dance school, the Betty Cross School of Dance, at her home in Cloverdale where for fifty years many a young dancer grew in her loving teachings. Her zest for her profession, her pride in her studentsand never ending community spirit will be sorely missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey, B.C. on Saturday, September 14th, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Heart and Stroke Foundation in Betty's memory would be appreciated.
