Born May 30, 1943 in Vancouver, BC.
She left us for an early tee time that she could not change on October 22. 2004.
Survived by her husband Tom, her daughter Leah Lynn (Mark), and son Thomas (Denise); 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan and Nicole.
Betty won many difficult matches against the grim reaper over the past 32 years beofre the adverse effects of her treatments left her too weak to win her final encounter with an opponent that had transformed into an extremely aggressive state.
When the weather was unfit for golf, Betty could often be found at the bridge table, or trying a new recipe from her always growing library of recipe books.
An informal drop-in Celebration of Betty's life was held on Saturday, Octber 30, 2004 between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Ave, Surry. Casusal attire or golf wear acceptable.
