YUE, Betty
December 25, 1926 - January 7, 2015
It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Betty Yue, a truly kind and gentle woman, devoted wife to husband Dr. KW Yue (predeceased) and a loving mother to sons Christopher & Geoffrey. Born in England, Betty spent the better part of her life in Vancouver & Ocean Park, where she found great joy creating and nurturing glorious natural gardens in those special places she called home. Betty's serenity and grace continues to shine on her loved ones and extended family, including niece Gillian (Julian), daughter-in-law Della, and her many, many dear friends. The family thanks everyone who expressed their support during this trying time, particularly the nurses at Peace Arch Hospital who cared for her in the final days. A celebration of Betty's remarkable life is planned for March at a time and place yet to be determined. Betty will be remembered forever by all those blessed to have known her; meanwhile, we take some comfort in the belief that the Lord's garden now has the perfect caretaker in residence.
