July 5, 1947 – December 31, 2018
On New Year’s Eve, 2018, a beautiful woman, both inside and out, was lost. Bev chose to give up her long battle with the many health issues which afflicted her. Despite her ever declining vision, Bev continued to create beauty with her hands, maintain a stunning garden and pursue her artistic talents with new craft projects. Her family meant the world to her, and she instilled her love of creativity in her two wonderful granddaughters.
Bev resided in White Rock, Hope and Surrey. No matter where she lived, she quickly and easily made loyal friends. Her baking was legendary and enjoyed by many, including the staff of countless doctor’s offices.
Beverly was pre-deceased by her husband, Fred, and her brother, Tom Hatter. Survived by her two sons, Scott Neilson (Heather) and Troy Neilson (Asia Luke), sister Barb Hatter (Chris McKillop), grandchildren Rylie, Paige and one more expected in June.
Special thanks to her sister, Barb, who was her best friend and support for many years.
Wherever she is now, may Bev be without pain and able to watch her family grow and flourish.
The immediate family will gather to remember Bev privately, as was her request.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for you to continue on like Bev, seeing the beauty in everything, the kindness in everyone, and as per some of her last words, “never stop dancing.”
