HODGINS, Bert born Oct. 3, 1918 and raised near Guelph Ontario, left this world quietly on Saturday evening, June 9th,2007 at Peach Arch Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Babe (Alena) Hodgins in 1999, and was a loving father who leaves behind daughter Wendy, sons Bruce & Wayne and seven grandchildren; Lia, Curtis, Skyler, Lindsay, Julia, Stuart and Trevor.
Bert retired from the Canadian Armed forces in 1969 after 28 years of service and retired in White Rock in 1985. He and his family enjoyed traveling far and wide, Bert and Babe were avid square dancers and Bert was a Mason since 1955. Always quick with a smile and a joke for anyone and everyone he met or passed by, Bert will sorely missed by all those fortunate enough to know and love him.
