THIEL, Brett Leonard.
We sadly announce the sudden passing of Brett on January 21, 2006 at Peace Arch Memorial in White Rock. Born January 1, 1952 in Brainard, U.S.A.
Dad was a very happy man who was devoted to his family. A smile was never far from his face and his spirit was infectious.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years, his soulmate and fishing partner Catherine (Broatch). His cherished mother Charleen Gardiner of Palm Springs and his beloved children Jonathan (Jen) and Alexis (Lewis), his sister Khail and brothers Jeff and Jack (California). He was an extremely proud Grandpa/Poppa to Jacob, Joshua, Tyla, Tristan, James and Jory. He will be terribly missed by many friends, especially Brian and Carol Hall, and in-laws Brian and Margie, Brian and Barb, Mike and Cookie, Chris and Myrna and all of his nieces and nephews who he cared for deeply.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 24th in Aldergrove. Please email thielio@hotmail.com or call 604-309-3603 for service details.
Following the service we invite everyone to come and join us at our home in typical Thiel fashion. We would like everyone to write down a story to be kept for the grandchildren in a memory book.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Heart and Lung Association would have pleased him.
He will be forever in our hearts.
