Bruce Arthur Galliford

October 25, 2003

Bruce passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock on October 25, 2003. Born in Barnstaple, England, Bruce became a member of the Scots Guards and later served with the British Police and Military Police which included overseas service in Europe. After retiring from the British Army with distinction at the rank of Major, the family moved to Canada in 1957.

In Canada Bruce was employed with the Canadian Army Provost Corps, U.B.C. and S.F.U.

Bruce's devotion to Betty, his wife of 65 years, was a shining example of his unique spirituality and depth of character. He will be sadly missed by family - Betty; sons Brian (Royce), Roger (Rita); grandchildren Bruce, Cathy, Neil, John, Brett, Rob, David and Aaron and great grandchildren.

No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations to Salvation Army, Peace Arch Hospital or charity of choice will be greatly appreciated.

"Forever in our hearts and the epitome of the perfect English gentleman".
