A kind and gentle soul, Bruce met his life bravely and with remarkable grace. He asked for little and gave generously. Bruce was born & raised in Edmonton where he attended the University of Alberta. In the 1980s he moved to BC and made White Rock his home, eventually moving to The Hazelmere Lodge in Surrey.
The family would like to thank all the health care professionals, bank tellers, shop keepers, receptionists, bus drivers and neighbours who treated Bruce with kindness and respect.
Bruce is survived by his father Richard Frankish; siblings Lynn Mowat, Brian (+Marg) Frankish, Leslie Frankish; nephews Bradley Mowat, Owen (+ Alona & son Kirill) Frankish, Scott Frankish (+ Stacie); and great friend Iona Elgabry. Bruce was predeceased by his beloved mother Ruth Frankish (nee Smaill) and brother-in-law David Mowat.
