Passed away suddenly January 22, 2006 in Peace Arch Hospital at the age of 87. Byron was born in Cumberland, BC and spent all his life in this Province, latterly in White Rock. He spent many years working in the paint industry; the last years before retirement were spent with General Paint. He most especially loved family gatherings; sports of all kinds and Barbershop music. Byron was a keen Bridge and Crib player. He had, for many years, been an avid golfer at Hazelmere. Byron will be lovingly remembered by his wife Doris, three daughters and a son and many grandchildren. Thank you for his care by the Nurses and Doctors at Peace Arch Hospital and a special thank you to Dr. Gibbings, his doctor for many years. Cremation; no service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
