Passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on July 8, 2006 at the age of 53.
This was her last wish.
Lovingly remembered by her husband Richard; her children Alisa(Kevin), Rob(Christie), Mike(Emma); her grandchildren: Destinee, Brittiny, Brayden, Mikayla, Tayler; her siblings Dawn (Brent), Elaine(Dean), Martin(Marnie), Les(Cornelia), Vern(Carole) and family dog Kita.
Predeceased by her fathers: Harold John Leslie Best and Carl Robert Vernon Best and her mother Leola Estella Best. Carmen was born in Grande Prairie, AB on Feb. 27, 1953.
She married her high school sweetheart Richard Alexander.
Carmen's greatest passions were woodworking, needlepoint, sewing, popcorn and movie nights with her grandchildren and most of all her family.
Carmen's meanest gesture was the thumbs up.
After an eight year battle, she was taken from us by Breast Cancer.
She will always be in our hearts and thoughts.
We love you Mom.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831-28th Ave., Surrey.
