On December 17, 2017 Carol passed away after a lingering illness a month before her 57th birthday at the Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, BC, with her loving husband,Tony Klyne, by her side.

She is also survived by her brothers, Alan Biegun (Ingrid), Rob Biegun(Jenny) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Trudy Biegun, as well as her favourite uncle, Andy MacIsaac.

She was born in Calgary in 1961as the youngest child and first daughter of the family. As a youngster she made friends with the next door kids on 21st Ave. one of whom was her future husband, Tony.

As she grew, Carol became the social convener for her group and counted her mom as one of her best friends. Working for many years at the Delta Bow Valley, Carol was the popular bartender for many guests and the crowd at the bar was testament to her popularity. Finally, the call of the ocean was too strong and she and Tony moved to Vancouver, finally settling in White Rock while Carol worked at the Fairmont.

Their friends at Charlie Don't Surf and Sawbucks knew that when Carol and Tony showed up their evenings would be brighter. In her mom's later years, Carol helped her move to White Rock and became her caregiver. Though her illness slowed her down, it did not diminish her love of life, her husband, family or friends.

We will miss her terribly and pray that in her rest, she has found peace.

There will be a celebration of Carol's life on January 6th at the Elks Lodge, 1469 George Street, White Rock, BC, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
