April 13, 1946 - February 27, 2025
Carole Diane Abernethy was born April 13, 1946 in Vancouver, BC. She was the only child to Stanley and Pearl Maddison. In 1969 she married Robert Abernethy (Bob) and had three boys Greg, Jordan and Doug.
Carole loved the theatre. She tried to instill that love of theatre into her children and grandchildren. She even played a couple of roles in the local pantomime as the backside of different animals.
After raising three boys, Carole and Bob moved to Crescent Beach permanently. She was an active member of the community and very much appreciated her friends there.
Carole passed away peacefully at her home on February 27th. She is survived by her husband Bob, children Greg (and Bonnie), Jordan (and Xanthe) and Doug; and grandchildren Zach and Kate. Carole maintained her wit and sense of humour until the moment she passed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
