Clifton Ayers Worth

After a courageous battle with cancer, peacefully passed away May 27, 2005, in his 87th year.

Clifton was predeceased in 1996 by Nora (nee Donnelly), his loving wife of 54 years.

He will be missed by sons David (wife Judy) and Raymond (wife Ann), his daughter Carol and his 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Clifton served Overseas as a Sergeant in the RCAF during World War II.

Subsequent to his retirement from Rowntree's Confectionaires (now Nestle Canada) he dedicated his life to music.

An Organist from his teens, in Winnipeg he dedicated 30 years to Fort Garry United Church, as Organist and Choirmaster.

After retirement from the church, he directed and conducted the Senior Citizens Choir of Winnipeg for many years.

The family would like to thank Dr. Erik Baasch for his kindly support through Dad's illness.

Also, we extend many thanks to all his loyal friends and relatives, who were there to support him through his life's journey.

A Memorial Service was held at First United Church, 15385 Semiahmoo Street, White Rock on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 2 pm.
