July 6, 1934 - January 26, 2019
It is with such sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved Mom, Grams, and GG. Cynthia Eden (nee Pheasey). She was predeceased by her husband Don and her son Ken. Lovingly remembered by her brother Dow (Sue); children, Bob (Juanita), Shelly (Ky), Mike (Cindy), Tracy (Brad), Dawn Marie (Rod), Brad; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Cynthia was born in Ogden BC to parents John and Velma O'Leary. Her early years were spent in Lillooet before moving to Williams Lake, then Vancouver, and she finally settled in White Rock to raise her family.
She could be found at the Drift Inn Cafe or Five Corners Cafe working part-time and making friends along the way. She was involved with the Army and Navy Unit #46, Peace Arch Manor Housing, Western Fraser Valley Dart League and Block Watch.
She loved playing darts, shuffleboard, bowling, travelling, fishing, crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She wouldn't turn down a trip to the casino either. Cynthia enjoyed spending time with her family, and shared her joy and stories about the great grand- kids with anyone who would listen.
The family would like to thank the home care nurses, Dr. Collins and the compassionate hospice team, and Dr. Varughese for her terrific care of Mom.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at Hazelmere Golf Course Saturday, February 16th at 11:00 am. Flowers gratefully declined.
