Passed away on Friday, September 29th, 2006 in White Rock, B.C. at age 88. Predeceased by husband James, sister Elsie and brother Jim.
Daisy was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sheila McDowall (Al), son Lorie Geary (Angela), grandchildren Greg McDonald (Sonya), Lisa Baker (Clint), Lindsay Lenarduzzi (Trevor), David Geary, and great-grandchildren Jenna, Katie, Nick and Evan.
Daisy will also be greatly missed by her extended family and many friends, particularly her sisters-in-law Val and Hazel, her long-time friend Mary Santo, and her friends at Christina Place. Daisy was a strong and proud individual who met life's challenges with determination, grace and dignity.
She had a great love of life.
She enjoyed socializing with friends. She passionately listened to the Canuck hockey games.
But Daisy's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, of whom she was immensely proud.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Lourens Perold for his compassion and care.
A Memorial service will be held at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 15115 Roper Ave., White Rock, on Friday, October 6th at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Daisy's memory to the C.N.I.B. or the B.C. Lung Association.
