Danny was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and grew-up in Widnes, England.
As a young man, he served in the RAF, played Rugby Union for the Old Wids, and developed his love of golf. He married the love of his life, Florence in 1961. They immigrated to Canada in 1965 and he worked as a Boilermaker.
Danny was a proponent of the trades and he ended his career with the B.C. Government as the Director of Apprenticeship and Employment Training. He was a devoted husband, father, and granddad.
He was known as a good kind man who always had a smile and a joke to tell.
He is survived by his wife Florence, his daughter and son-in-law Vivienne & Dean, grandsons Ian & Neil, and many life-long friends.
From my heart to your heart
