April 20, 1963 - March 7, 2019
On March 7, 2019, Danny was taken from us far too early. Dan's loving mother (Noreen Schmitt) visited him early Thursday morning to guide him through his journey to the next life, where his Father (Bill Schmitt) and Nana (Winifred Holt) await. Dan will be sorely missed by his son Dustin Schmitt, siblings Faye Schmitt, Patty Kenward (Schmitt) and Mike Ziegler, along with stepfather James Ziegler and his best friend Kim Steadman. He leaves behind numerous close friends and family. Dan's rare quality of love and compassion for all things living especially animals will be missed, as these attributes are rarely seen in people today. For this reason the world lost a difference maker and inspiration for what is good in this world. Dan loved the outdoors, family and close friends. All who knew Dan"O" will miss him dearly. Please join us for a "Celebration Of Life" 4 pm on April 20 at Sunnyside Hall.
