February 4, 1940 - December 11, 2018
David passed away quickly, peacefully and painlessly on December 11th, 2018 from bacterial pneumonia after a long struggle with Parkinson's and Lewy body dementia. Dave will forever be loved and remembered by his wife, Bonnie, daughters (Alissa and Tiffany), son (Michael), brother (Bruce), sisters (Eileen and Shirley), and his crew of grandchildren, great grandchildren and good friends.
David was born and raised in Vancouver and followed the love of his life to White Rock over 40 years ago. He was happiest when he was with his family and friends. He loved being on the ocean, watching Formula 1, riding his many bicycles, and connecting with others through faith at church. He was deeply loved and respected and we will miss his chuckles, his warm hugs, steady love and that twinkle in his eye.
A service is being held in his memory at All Saints Community Church (14615 - 16th Ave., White Rock) on Thursday, January 17th at 2 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
We'd like to thank and acknowledge all of the amazing staff at Morgan Place where my dad spent his last few days. Your loving care meant the world.
