January 21, 1968 - September 19, 2018
Deborah (Deb) Reny passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospice on September 19, 2018, on a beautiful sunny day with her family at her side.

Deb was born on January 22, 1968 in Rotherfield, England to Elizabeth and Michael Hollick and moved to White Rock, B.C. at seven years old with her family. Deb received her degree in Business Management from the University of Calgary and shortly after got married and had three beautiful children. Deb dedicated her life to raising her three children to be kind, well-rounded, intelligent people. While working as a full-time mom, Deb developed a passion for photography and photoshop. Her work was inspired and extraordinary, and many of her images reflected her love of her children, bunnies, and unexpected juxtapositions.

Deb's 5 year battle with cancer demonstrated immense courage and resilience and her fight was inspiring to all who knew her. She took full advantage of life during her battle and travelled the world to places like Hong Kong, Cambodia, the Caribbean, and throughout North America.

A brilliant, feisty and courageous woman, Deb will be remembered as a loving mother, talented photographer and a thrill-seeking adventurer.

Deb will be deeply missed by her three children Marina, Sarah, and Alex; her mother, Elizabeth; sisters Jo and Bryony; and her many friends and relatives. Mom, Blossom, Deb, Debbie; we love you.

A Celebration of Life will be at Hazelmere Golf & Tennis Club, 18150 8 Avenue Surrey BC, on October 6 at 11 am, and the family asks that everyone who loved Deb to please attend.

A special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Peace Arch Hospice for the constant care and support for both Deb and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rabbitat in South Surrey.
