LEONE, Deidre Evelyn. Mar 21, 1962 – July 22, 2011. Deidre Evelyn Leone (neé Arlt) passed away peacefully at Langley Memorial Hospital in the loving presence of her father after a long and courageous battle with Von Hipple-Lindau disease (VHL). Deidre was born to Roy Arlt & Christine Currie (neé Bracey) in Duncan, BC on March 21st 1962. She will forever be loved, cherished and deeply missed by those she leaves behind: her father; her son Riley; her siblings: Lisanne & Tim; her many nieces and nephews; her best friend Carol and all else who knew her. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to, Laurie, June, Dr. Scudamore and all the hospital staff and volunteers who helped care for Deidre. An Open House for the Celebration of Deidre’s Life will be held at 2335 – 128 Street, Surrey, BC on Saturday, August 20th from 2pm onward. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for VHL research.
