Dennis passed away to be with God after a brave battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his father Alexander Burdeyny and survived by his mother Martha at 93 years of age.
He is survived by Elizabeth, his wife of 19 years; his children; Clayton (Jennifer), Natalie (Mark), Jesse (Alexandra), and three grandchildren, stepchildren Amanda (Darren), Kevin (Amy), Adam (Leanne) and four step grandchildren.
Dennis was born and raised in Vancouver and made and kept life long friends from his early school days. He loved to play golf and was an excellent bridge player. He loved camping in the RV and exploring out of the way places. He was best known for his ball caps, jeans and cowboy boots.
He will be missed by all his friends forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the end of February.
