Gone too soon at the age of 72, Dennis lives on in the hearts and memories of his family and friends. Dennis passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital, lovingly surrounded by family. Born in Winnipeg Manitoba to George and
Della Colter, Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Heather (Frampton) children; Jeff, his wife Iryna, grand daughter Allison, Kris, Sherri and sisters; Janice, Kim and their families. Dennis built a beautiful life for his family. He started work in the meat industry in 1969 later to establish his own Meat Export Business in Vancouver in 1991, where he was joined by his sister Kim who coined him “Boss Hog.”He built their family home in Saskatoon, and they spent
many special summers with family at sister Janice, (John’s) cottage in Manitoba. Dennis lived his life to the fullest. Hewas a man who always took care of those he loved and he was there to support family and friends in times of need. He is fondly remembered for his tough exterior, with a very big soft spot, and a heart of gold.
