With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Diana Hutchison on July 7, 2019 at Peace Arch Hospital after fighting a long courageous battle with cancer. Diana is survived by her loving husband, Adam, sister, Sharon, brother Howard (Doreen), brother, Murray (Helen), and many nieces and nephews, which all loved and cherished their auntie. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Diana was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Millie Bleich, sisters, Darlene Shiels and Marjorie Melby.
Diana was born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, in 1944. She met her husband, Adam in Prince George in 1968 and were married 1971 They lived together in various places across BC, spending most of their married years in White Rock. Diana spent her life caring for other's which reflected in her chosen career of customer service. Diana enjoyed playing golf, curling, bowling, and racquetball. She loved traveling and visiting with family and friends, with whom she spent hours playing cards and scrabble.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff on the 4th floor at Peace Arch Hospital as well as the staff in the Emergency ward, for the great care given to Diana prior to her passing.
Thank you to Dr. Shustik, Dr. Tiwana and Dr. Nantel for the great care given to Diana through out her illness.
Diana wishes to spend eternity among the seas, her ashes will be spread at a later date.
