September 10, 2003

Capt. (retired) Canadian Armed Forces, born July 29, 1918 in Plum Coulee, Manitoba, passed peacefully on September 10, 2003 at Royal Columbian Hospital. Survived by wife Eva Doreen and four children; Linda, Greg, Jeff and Elise, grandson Clayton as well as two sisters, Mabel and Ruby and many other relatives and friends.

He was a pharmacist within the Armed Forces that saw him complete tours of duty in the Gaza Strip, Egypt and throughout Canada. Following retirement, he owned his own pharmacy here in Vancouver, and ended his career as a pharmacy drug inspector for the Ontario College of Pharmacists from which he finally retired from in 1984. He had a full, rich life and those that knew him well, and were loved by him, never had cause to doubt it. We were truly blessed.
